Just a quick report, more for my own memory banks than anything.

I headed out an hour or so before dusk yesterday to try for a few pollack from a local headland. Having previously been down there on a spring tide and whitnessed the strong current at this mark, I thought it'd be worth a bash. To cut a long story short, because we're currently in the middle of a super weak tidal system, the exected flow actually followed a different course and was unreachable. I fished for a couple of hours in relatively quiet water and took only a small pollack on a tiny XLayer. It was the only indication I had all night, and even that was just a tiny tap OTD.

Will go back on the next set of springs.
