pannic minnows

    hi ladds can i have your suggestions on the best way to use the pannic minnows plz.also hook size plz
    im thinking 2/0 of 3/0 they 4.5 inch long thanx ladds paul:wink:

    Hard and fast is the best method I've found for the Panic Minnows. No fannying about, just wind :evil:

    As for hooks, a big 1/0 or small 3/0 is about right :)

    I think the Panic Minnows may have been made for dropshotting. I have not fished them on dropshot though, only on a standard weedless hook with 5g on the nose. With limited success I might add.

    I thought they looked like a dropshot thing too Mark but the only way I've had takes is hard and fast as I say, usually after having played around with 'finnesse' riggings, got pished off and wound in to change lure. The takes have been good doing it this way. :D

    I use the 4.5 inch on a 3/0 with between 3 and 10g depending on flow where I am fishing. I generally fish them slow in a twitch/ drop style. They have worked well enough for me in the past 3 months
