Woke up today and again thinking wrasse or bass on my kayak...WRASSE OR BASS...
Well I caught the bass on my favourite SP to I moved on to the wrasse and was not prepared for what followed. The wrasse were loving my red sparkle jelly worm with 10g jig head.Almost a wrasse a cast at some stage was stoked to get one of these green beautys.

A short time later I was into a bus of a wrasse and knew it was big but not expecting this.

I thought it was about 5.5 - 6 lbs but when I put it on the scale it was bouncing just above/below 7lbs.Not easy and accurate to weigh on a vessel but I was happy with 7lbs.

She went back strongly and I called it a fathers day I wont forget.

Steve that is a clonker mate, well done, it must have gone like ***k!! They are the hardest fighting fish we have eh, I mean the pure agressive head bangs and power from those big tails, gotta love them.
