My fishing buddy got a couple early season mainly after reading Henry Gilbey extolling their virtues and has tried them on occasions throughout the season

Result - one hit possible no hook ups. He much prefers patchinkos:-?

Had my first ever off the top with a Popkey and a few since. When worked properly its exellent on the right day, I own more Popkeys than any other lure.
I prefer it to the Patch2 aswell.

However, when badly or aggresively worked the hooks catch on the leader.

I have caught a bit of stuff on it, but its not a go to lure for me. Tried mine tonight and noticed that after a couple of fish on it the other day, two of the three trebles are bent and need replaceing. They where not big fish either :???:

True, but then the hooks on the Feed Shallow are a tad naff to, I lost a corker due to FS hooks bending out.
