Evening All,

In a bit of a dilemma and after some advise. Just not sure which to get, heard really good things about them both.

The Shimano has slightly slower gearing which I prefer, but i really like the look of the Quantum.

Has anyone tried them both, looked at them both or just some advise

Both lovely but the rarenium has it for me by miles. My daughter uses the Quantum and although being a very nice reel it is showing signs of corrosion on the bodywork because she hasnt washed it. Put the rarenium up against the Quatum Cabo 30 and I would say 50/50, both are brilliant.

Another vote for the Rarenium here - i have one & its gorgeous.

Just recivet my rarenium this week...feels so smooth...very pleased with it...and its cheeper than the quantum

I've a Rarenium as well - very pleased with it - it's light, smooth and has good line lay and balances very well on either a Tecklon Concept Spin or a Sakura Rookie.
