They do swear by cruising blue over in Ireland - very popular lure across the water and I used a green sayori yoro-yoro that killed over there last July but has never done the biz for me anywhere in the UK or Jersey ... odd!

Had the Yoro Yoro for two years odd as I picked it up on a Japanese order eons ago ... still hard to get as most of the Gaterides are the Hi-Pitch which do hit 3ft ... lost mine last year which I haven't replaced ... not much to choose between the actions of all three zonks from what I recall ...

I bet Cian has sold alot of Hi-Pitches ... about the only lure I heard consistently catching when I was over last summer (I am sure some of the Irish lads will chime in too :))

get one of each - job done ... and for the record I have only just recently damaged my yoro yoro bib so I have glued it down into its fishing position ...

The until recently hard to get Yoro Yoro is supposed to be a 'proper' shallow diver 12 inches or less (no I haven't tried one but have seen it described as such!). The Hi-Pitch runs deeper around the three foot mark (though not as deep as the suspending straight-lipped Zonk 120 which goes to four or five feet).

I used the Hi-Pitch in the Iwashi colour a lot last summer (here in Ireland) and it was probably my best fish catcher, absolute faith in it. Shame about the crappy lip though, as I said on the other Gataride thread I won't be buying any more.

dear alex, what you say about a certain colour gataride catching bass in ireland and meanwhile not being so successfull in england intriges me very much. It makes me think that over here in holland at some spots gatarides are killers no matter what colour you use and at another spot the bass only go for a pink iwashi. (if you are lucky)What I am trying to say is that we are talking about the same species of fish that fall for different lures at different places.Aint fishing wonderfull(or are the bassstocks in ireland far bigger than in the uk?)
