Well i have decided to fish the early morning tide at a nice spot in pembrokeshire (St.brides).
I rang a friend to see if he wants to do the early tide and see if their are any bass about.

Now my mate is not into the lure scene, however he swears by the red gills and to be fair he has shown me a few pics of some of the bass he as caught with them(with a smug smile on his face).

I have some reg gills and also i have one of them strange yo-zuri skip bunnys, now in my madness i was thinking if its worth giving it ago attaching the red gill on a leader, leading from the skip bunny?
Has anyone else given this a try before?

have not tried that but when all else fails I find a red gill on a jig head will result in fish. A white/pearl one is our favourite. I have used the smallest eels as a teaser which works well
