Would like your feedback on your experiences of Red head lures. At the moment red head lures are dong well in this part of the country. Great to get your opinions.

Never caught on one. I thought the red-head Zonk would be a killer but it just seems to repel things!

Locally, not so hot.

Why ? Not a clue.

I don't have much success with predominantly white lures full stop to be honest.

I've never caught on a redhead either. I've only got one or two and I think they'll be due a new coat of paint soon.

I had a good session last november on a red head silver bodied Maria Chase BW.
It was a shallow rocky mark, clear sea, overcast and lots of fizz.

I have always associated red head lures with freshwater piking for some reason. Don't ask me why!

Am only just up the coasr from you, as you know Michael. But I gotta say that I haven't had any joy on them and neither has my son. That said, "horses for courtses" and a change in the time of year, might well be worth me investing a few more hours on them
