Hi Guys,

Sorry, but this isn't a catch report, but I didn't know where else to post it.

I understand that there is a long stretch of reef along the south coast to the east of Brighton and I was wondering how far along the coast this stretches. I'm in Kent and lookling for for some new marks to try out. Does the reef run as far as Rye or Pett? Any further and we're talking about half a tank of petrol for a few hours fishing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Moderators, please feel free to move this post as appropriate.

All the best,
Tones.

Tones,
I fish the reef along from brighton (marina)to eastbourne (beachy head). It does extend further, but not 100% sure how far. I know from another member the fishing at Fairlight can be good (rocky/reefy mark)
The colour is still dropping out at the moment, might have another look at the weekend. Looked fishable on saturday when Jordonis3r and I fished it, but a blank.
Watch yourself on the reef, lots of broken sections at the moment from the storms, some are less than stable.
