I thought I wuld be a smart arse and make a slide show to show how easy it is to completely strip a Shimano technium reel. Everything was going to plan til I realised You Tube hadnt up loaded the whole slide show....so I got to start again,

Here is the messed up version to look at til I fix the problem tomorrow

Do you think its ok? Does it need some music? Any suggestions?

Mick, I would echo what the rest have said - looks very informative, but you need to spend longer on each frame. If you could do a rear drag Shimano as well I would be delighted as I have just had to have entire new internals put into both of my Exage 4000 RA reels! If I had been able to strip and sevrice them myself during the season maybe the bearings and gears would have survived!

I'm a novice when it comes to servicing reels, so I would need it to be a lot lot slower with the words on screen staying there for 3 times as long, Mr Fish.
Use the pause button on youtube !! Then take as long as you want !! :muhu:

Oh, I know putting it back together is just the same but in reverse. But speaking for myself  I haven't ever stripped a fixed spool before, it would be helpful to be able to follow the rebuild as well. Just to make sure nothing was missed !! :badlol:
