Now I'm an expert bass fly fisherman having caught my first bass on the fly above 4oz. I thought I'd start tying flies. Most of the flies have epoxy heads and to make life easier I thought I'd look at a rotary dryer. Being a tight arse I thought I'd make my own, I found some good info on the net and made a cracking dryer from a mirror ball motor from Maplin. I'm sure with a few minor alterations you could also use it for expoying rods the motor has plenty of grunt being main driven. I've put in some links below hope they work.

Tying is great fun - really getting into my stride! you have endless hours of tinkering ahead of you

I use Bug Bond which doesn't need drying - its an instant cure UV gel and its awesome!

Hello Alex, I have seen the bug bond looks good stuff when I've got a bit of spare cash I will probably invest in some. Theres a 99p shop in haverfordwest were you can get 6 min clear epoxy it works great may go yellow after a few weeks I don't know yet. But it's great stuff to get you up and running.
