Don't rule out the Rookie range of rods, I have the Rookie 7"3 10-35gm and it is outstanding for the money, I also have the Shukan 8"6 and it was because of this rod I bought from the Sakura range again. If you buy the Mazzer please let us know how you get on with it !

Don't rule out the Rookie range of rods, ...

would like a rookie, but did not find any in the range like the mazzera MAS 802 Medium, 2.44m 10-30g (would like more a sakura in 8´x" length with 5-25g...)
