Well not exactly on the beach but in the air above it......
Missed dawn/sunrise this morning but thought I would give the beach ago anyway as it was a nice morning. Sea was flat with just the tiniest ripple and very clear. No signs of fish but there were a few terns doing speculative dives and moving on.
But in the air I saw the first swallows I have seen this year. So it must be getting nearer to seeing a few more fish. The logic is a bit disjointed but works for me!!!!
And leaving the harbour when I left the beach were two trawlers off to pair trawl somewhere, along with the fisheries protection vessel for company. First time I have actually seen it at sea!!!!! There is hope for the local bream stocks too....
