Has anybody tried the Serengeti range of polarised glasses?

I'm pretty damn interested in them at the moment, mostly due to the fact that the lens's are light sensitive, so will lighten and darken depending on conditions (photochromatic?)

Their green 555nm lens' could be just the thing! I lost my Cosa Del Mar's, but am always interested in trying new things, just so I can compare...

I have three pairs of Serengeti glasses and I absolutely adore them :jump: :jump:

I have one pair with dark drivers glass lenses (the ones that I have on in my avatar pic), a pair with lightweight titanium frame and the polycarbonate lenses and finally a pair with the green lenses.

I my opinion you have to look long and very hard to find anything better :wackit: :wackit:

Thanks Vidar! Just what I was hoping to hear! Do the lenses actually adjust much with light, or is it just something they use, that doesn't really work? They're quite competitively prices as well if they're that good.

Perfect! I imagine the 555 being a little short of the CDM 580's (judging by the numbers), but with the photochromatic features, I'll happily give them a go over another pair of 580's.

i mentioned the serengeti on another thread, i am still yet to find better eyewear and ive used mine all around the world!
I remember that thread Iestyn, (didn't you say you found them better than CDM's and MJ's? ) thats why i went for them when i saw them, then when i ran a check on the model number and discovered how much they cost new, i had to have them :horsesword:

(managed to get them for the reserve price too. :D )
