Morning
i'm just back from the beach having forced myself out of bed at 5:30 after a bit of a late one at a family wedding. Cycled a couple of miles to a spot where i've never been lucky before. Fish were showing close in when I arrived at 6, just as it was getting light. Within 20 minutes I was into a chunky little bass, and 20 minutes later landed another, I'd say both slightly above sizeable. I've no measure, scales or camera, and they both went straight back. As the sun got up they disappeared, and I left before 8 and was home as the kids got up.
A very encouraging little session, with no sign of the weed that's plagued our beaches round here since spring, and good clarity in the water. Think I'll be up a bit earlier tomorrow!
Oh yeah, the lucky lure was a komomo II in chameleon.
Cheers Mike
