Very nice. Don't think they were there in my time. The place back then was Harbord Tackle which happened to be fairly close to where I lived. Googled them a while back but I think they ceased trading a couple of years ago.

It's been a while so I thought I'd treat myself :muttley: and the bottom Manic was a bonus free gift! :jump:

    Cheers Daan ;).

I'm yet to catch on the IMA Calm and I only bought this second one as I couldn't get the Ruf Manic in the colour I wanted :D but it looks like a great sandeel imitation.

Any advice you could you give me on how to get the best out of the Calm?

I cant catch with any other colour than the one you have purchased there Andy The IMA calm 95.

Sedge prefers the smaller Bay rufs. My thinking, is, the bigger ones cast further and cover more ground. We will see at the end of the season who does better.;) The IMA calm you have - at night, just a straight retrieve I recall it was in a rolling surf and also caught early morning in calm conditions.
I caught first cast first time I used it.

The Enstyu Kinibago used to be my go to lure in lumpy conditions. The Hama Shrasu is not far away from it.

I may even break my 'no more hard lures' trade embargo for that one!

Will be used for chasing the local natives. The conquest will be matched to a rod best described as an extended broomstick...but not as heavy!

That conquest looks absolutely gorgeous. Shame to spoil it, would look fantastic in a show case in my hallway.
