    Mark,
very nice outfit. The SPR reels do look very good but not cheap!!! The Pagani rod looks excellent too. I am hoping to do some UL baitcasting this year too. Nothing quite as exotic as that though. On the latest Megabass dvd they show one of the Pagani Air Bamboo rods in action. Very slow by baitcasting standards but seems to work very well with lighter lures.

Beautiful BC outfit there Mark, the pics don't really do it justice, that rod really is a work of art!

I look forward to seeing it in action!

A polite way of saying my photography sucks!:-D i agree bud!

Mike,pm me when you get sorted,UL baitcasting isn't common! I'm very keen on it though! I came up with something today;-)

After changing braid and tweaking the reel a bit,i got it casting sweet today:-D:wackit2:

    Hope to fish tomorrow!

    Cheers

I don't usually put stuff in here, but this beatiful piece of art landed on my desk yesterday. Let me introduce you to my new HRF/ Wrasse BC rod; Wolfgang

It carries a casting range of 3.5-18g and the action is rated at medium. Feels pretty stiff in hand, but during the old 'pull down tip' test, it shows a pretty progressive loading. At only 6'5'' it should provide excellent leverage on fish in heavy cover. Well that's the plan anyway. I've got to say, it's a beautiful piece of art and craftsmanship. I thought the finish on my Evergreen rod was good, but this is just awesome.

Just need to pick up a couple BC reels now(one for fluoro and one for braid) and get her out on the Wrasse. Will hopefully report good things on my blog over the coming weeks.
