Fantastic boots mate, best ive used!!!!
Do they do a studded Aquastealth sole as in the cheaper Rivershed model, as I cannot see any in the G4 range, only the StreamTread ones? If not, are the StreamTread soles any good for our fishing on slippery, weedy rocks?

Also, did you go for a UK size bigger than your normal shoe size?

I've used Simms Rivershed boots with a studded aquastealth sole for a while now and found them excellent - they're very supportive and feel much more like a normal hiking/walking boot. Buy your normal UK shoe size as they made with an allowance for neoprene stocking feet.

Yes mate i had to go for a size bigger and the sole is Vibram and really needs to be fitted with the Cleated stud found here: http://www.simmsfishing.com/site/hardbite_star_cleat.html just fantastic for weed and wet rocks

anyone has the Simms freestone breathable waders together with them Simms freestone boots?
Tried the M size today and think the legs are two inch too long...
Think I do not get me into S size (which they did not have in stock at my local dealer to have a try...).

But they gonna have a good deal with 300€ freestone boots and freestone breathable waders end of the year.

Cheers

Paul, did you get the G4's in the end. My Platinum's also require replacement after a year, and i am also looking for something that will last a little better.
