And, often much different to how it is perceived by non divers.
Colours are much more vivid inside the 10 meter boundary than all
the articles ever give credit too. However, the photo's you are seeing
are in plankton starved waters compared to Channel Island waters.
It's often like looking out through a snow storm here.
Now, this brings me to a great question...
Look in all the UK dive mags.
You can look back 25 years or more. find me pics of Bass and or of Mullet.
I'd bet that challenge would be harder than catching your own double.
