David they are roughly 1000 more than Shimano ie 4011 = 3011 and 5011 = 4011, they are smaller than the size indicates, thats the Italians for you lol hope this helps

Thanks Dave - just what I wanted to know.
I've also found the same model reel appears to go by different names depending on where you look - Italia site, Ebay etc.
I think there is just the one 5011 model so I that helps a lot.

Hi Dave,

Are these Alcedo salt water spinning reel that you recommended still available in UK or EU? Look like super reels from your description and I hear that Alcedo make reels for major brands and rebadge.
