so far, i know that mosseydog is a fan of rodrigo y gabriela & henry is a champion of all things metal, but what do the rest of you listen to when spending winter evenings sorting out the lure box?
for reasons too long and complicated to go into, i've been on a trip back in time tonight, listening to King Crimson.
£20 says Dai ain't into westlife!

may i just say that King Crimson does not represent normal listening, but it does demonstrate just how evocative music can be.
generally my tastes are pretty varied. love good RnB,but also have a weakness for classis rock, stones etc. but then agian Pendulum played at 11 takes some beating!
last 3 acts i've seen, Kings of Leon, Nitin Shawney & Elton John.
Ecclectic covers it i think!

I love all rock, from Led Zep and Floyd, through to Zodiac mindwarp, Slip knot, korn and Marilyn Manson, although some of Henry's tastes are a touch on the heavy side even for me,,

BUT I HAVE A PSYCHOPATHIC EVIL HATRED OF ALL KINDS OF RAP MUSIC, WHETHER IT BE THE BEASTIE BOYS, LINKIN PARK OR NWA..
KILL EM ALL AND BOIL THEIR FLESH... :aarrg:

I drove 40,000 miles in my car this year, so my built-in ipod connection is absolutely essential to my sanity.

I've ripped just about my entire CD collection onto the ipod, and i'm not sure how many songs are on there . . . . but it's a lot. I'm very-much a 'music for a mood' person. In the mornings, driving into work quietly, i like Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Jamie Cullum, Bill Withers, Ray Lamontagne, Marvin Gaye. In the evenings, when getting home as quickly as possible is the objective, it's over to Stereophonics, Faithless, The Killers, Kings of Leon & Ministry of Sound.

God i love my ipod :wackit:

ShArk is about as close to what I like compared to everyone else. I am stuck in my teens when it comes to the music I never get fed up with listening to. I will listen to anything thats goos though, from Simon & Garf to Disturbed!! My total love though is ska from the late 70's, specials, bad manners, selecta, beat, etc etc, my absolute favourite two bands are the Jam and Stiff Little Fingers. but like I say anything good is good. Over the years I have been into allsorts, I even liked some progressive house stuff and went to see some excellent DJ's over here.

Harrington, Brogues, Loafers, Staypress, tonic suit, Cromby, Fred Perry, Lonsdale, even known to own a couple of boating blazers!! And of course a PX200 Vespa, yes mate I lived the dream. Strangely now my daughter who is 21 absolutely loves Madness, one of her favourite bands. I played bass guitar in a band in the 80's, mainly our own stuff but quite a few 60's covers and most of The Jams songs we could rattle, I still play a mean Down in the tube station on my daughter bass, it does impress her.

It was easier for us, leather bike jacket, denim "cut off" covered in patchouli oil, engine oil, and various bodily fluids,

Levi "originals" covered in engine oil and stinking to high heaven, loads of tattoos and piercings (years before they became popular) and a bath once a week whether you needed it or not, and not forgetting the obligatory chopped motorcycle with a big t*tted young lady on the back...
"Ahhhhh, them were the days" :muttley:
