Ok loving the uv thread , but it got a bit err tough to follow, i missed lighting explained in school simply because we were too busy burning each other with bunsen burners and other imature stuff.
Would it be possible to have a side thread (here) with simple one off statements that are scientifically proven and VALID TOO LIGHTING , ok heres goes

    1) light travels in straight lines

FACT * A lightsaber can remove body parts so please use common sense and not the force (i have video evidence as proof )

Which would Luke Skywalker catch more fish with his lightsaber or his rod and lure ?

The light we can see given off by a UV black light is Violet and is there as a safety feature so we don't get burnt.
The reflective light shown in the various photos is from the violet spectrum and only can give an indication of what UV may reflect.
    Light cannot change wavelength!
Grass is green in appearance as it absorbs red and blue light and reflects green light!

I have a switch on my wall that allows me to control light.

Should have been drinking Bud Light and this would not have happened, as Bud Light is like UV light and reflects hangovers.

So.....we have seen certain lures reflect the 'black' light that is shone on them. Simple answers please, does this mean they could be more visible with low light?

If I was to buy a UV marker pen, and put 'hot spots' on my lures, maybe draw on a lateral line or something, would I get any advantage? The chartreuse hotspot on the ayu xlayer seems to be very effective.
