Keith I'm confused. Manx loughtan sheep, an Isle of Man TT centenary cap. Are you sure that is Jersey????

Incidentally the indigenous Manx loughtan sheep was nearly extinct a few years ago (when I was a boy). Then someone realised that the meat tasted great & they could live in places other sheep couldn't & they have made a massive comeback all over the place.

Even the TT mascot now is a Loughtan sheep called Ramsey. What next??

How many Manx Loughtan sheep are on Jersey do you reckon???

Family connections. Anyone I might know???
Quite a few. They are free roaming over a huge area of the North coast.
My Daughters partner is from IOM.

On a more serious note, children that were put up for adoption in the 1960's / 1970's were swapped, so to speak. The Channel Islands kids came to the Isle of Man & were adopted by Manx parents & visa versa.
Sad that they ended up away from their country of birth, but I guess it was done for the obvious reasons, small communities, everyone knowing everyone else's business etc etc.
