Went out this morning on home turf as an hrf warmup before I hit jersey tomorrow.

The result? 1 bass and 6 wrasse on the homemade brown lures in the soft compound. Have a lovely wriggle to them.

Also got beaten big a good wrasse. He went very hard and to ground in the bootlace and was not coming out!

Roll on jersey!!

Bass was circa 2lb and back quick, biggest wrasse about 2lb as well. really strange dark one was the last out, allt he wrasse from the same area, such different colours.

Good stuff Andy, that dark one is really odd never seen one like that.
Popped out myself earlier, a bite from what looked like a bass and caught one small wrasse.

Was the increased action from the soft rubber that noticeable Andy?? Might be worth getting some...can always recycle them if they get damaged......:-D:-D

The soft compound is only better on certain lures. Sorry I'm knackered. Will come up with better when have slept
