Gents, I think that we could do with a method of coordinating our weekly mini-meets or request for company for a sesh. Therefore suggest using this thread for that purpose (as we seem to be using the Social Group at WSF less & less). Perhaps we could get this sticky'd for that purpose???

Thoughts ??

As a starter for 10 . . . . . . what's the latest thinking on this weekend. I'm up for a trip somewhere West. Havent seen the latest forecast yet. Is it looking a little more fishable than last weekend, or do i need to get the bait rods out ?
Si, winds are dropping and Sunday looks the best option. I am busy Saturday anyhow (working the dogs at a shoot). Depends on how much the swell drops away. I think winds look westerly, so the marks that fished at the meet in October may be useful. Failing that we could look further afield. Bit early for a plan. Reconvene Friday evening?
swells are forecast around the 1m+ mark......deffo better than last weekend  The winds should be swinging Northerly I thought so should be sheltered on any S facing.....but the small swell is coming from the SW, you win some you lose some

I agree, too early for firm plans, just trying to get a means of communicating up & running, and getting a feel for who could be up for a Bumble.
Also, just a reminder gents that i have the second order of gear from the Welsh Meet through. I've made arrangements with a few of you, but will sort the rest of you out when i get organised in the next day or so (been a bit of a mad week). The misses is giving me grief for having a big box of stuff in the house, so i'll be glad to get them out of the way (she can moan about something else then!!).

Make sure you have mine please on Friday, money is waiting !!!!!!!
Forecast currently looking good for Sunday on the South Pembs or Milford Haven marks with approx 8mph northerlies forecast. This will flatten off most marks along the South Coast e.g. Manorbier, Freshwater East, Swanlake Bay etc. Low is around 9:30am on a "medium" tide. Come on boys - who's coming out to play? (Wrap up warm though!). I guess it may also be a good forecast for the Gower?
I'm in !!!
Round up the usual suspects! Come on guys, may be the last weather window we get...
Hi Tim, just checked with Jack and the young master says yes. Probably wont be able to get down there until 10ish though, what time are you guys looking to get started?

I’ll drop Mossy a pm and see if he wants picking up on our way through.
Pretty sure Mossey can't make it - some pitiful excuse about needing to cross the border as i recall !! John, i'll pop yours & Jacks new Hoody's in the boot for you.
Si, that’s cracking, with Tims new jacket we’ll be well blinged up.
John, be good to see you & Jack. Worried the forecast has changed though to 25-30mph northerlies now for Sunday? Can't seem to get a consistent picture here - can you guys see what you are getting? We can make a plan tomorrow evening and aree where to meet. I Was looking to get started a bit ealrier, John but you can call and see where we are - we should have checked where is fishable by then and you & jack can jst get cracking when you join us?
Anyone know what Softie is doing yet?
Called-in to see softie earlier to give him his gear. Sounds like he's out to play on Sunday, but he wasnt sure where yet. Said he'd likely post something prior to Sunday to indicate where he'll be going.
Did he tell you about his new rod (bought second hand off Saltifa I believe...)?

Nope. What's he had?
Not for me to say, but I don't think it's red...

26mph North to North Easterly on the Met Office, with heav rain !! So we'll see how good that jacket is Griff - i may also regret not getting around to picking-up that Cag !!!

Either way, it won't be as bad as last Saturday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just had a look on Metcheck and it is saying 16 to 19 mph Northerlies but also zero degrees and snow and sleet. Brrrrrrrrr, just starting a new search for gloves - hope you’ve got a good fleece to go under your new jacket.

Probably best to check again tomorrow afternoon as various sites showing a lot of variation but generally cooling down and wind picking up throughout the day.
