hi everyone.i havent had any luck on the lures yet in 2010 and i hav tried
so many times.i think the water temp is too cold..i make off it needs to be
at least 12..currently the m3 wave buoy is reading 10/11..air temps also need
to be increased i think to 12/15 to get the crab moult started which in turn draws
the bass in...southerlys and milder weather are forecast for midweek so i hope
to have a few bass to report on by next sun although they will proberly be
taken on bait in surf conditions...by the way i hav caught 3 bass this year so
far on bait.a schoolie in jan a schoolie in feb on west cork surf beaches and
one of 5lb on a kerry beach while fishing with kevin brain..i also got a plaice
and flounder on a session tday...nice to get something anyway..anybody got
something to add about air/water temps in relation to bass fishing....g'luck
