I have taken most on xlayers. But then xlayers normally get tied on first so not really a fair comparison, as other stuff can and does work equally as well.

Haven't actually fished for them purposely this year but while bassing have had them in almost plague proportions some days.
I'd say Xlayers for sheer numbers of fish, but, for the big pigs the Fin S fish from lunker city has taken some real lumps. Don't get many on this lure but the ones that I have had (probably only four or five) have all been proper pigs.

me xlayer ayu and berkley gulp jelly worm in brown motor oil flavour caught most of them on and they r so cheap so dont mind losing any ,

Xlayer by far, but like had been said it is usually the lure I am using so its bound to ba an Xlayer. I have had great wrasse on all types of softies, but confidence once agin takes over.

Brown xlayers have easily outfished everything else despite trying other lures and colours. Never had a take on a goby style lure which seems odd but will keep trying.

It's gone very quiet here now. 4 blanks in a row. Even tried bait last night.

Gulp shrimp and MINNOW, but next year will be trying gulp fish fry and swimming mullet (curl tails Ritchie ;))
