Hi guys

Im getting my gear ready for a trip in the next few weeks. Need to replace the trebles on my feed shallow.

What size trebles do i need to get for the 128?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the standard ones are size 5 ST-46's. Pretty flimsy hooks though? Personally I'd replace them with a 4.

The standard hook on the Feed Shallow 128 is the Owner ST-46. Because of the powerful rods and heavy braid that many of use in this country, it is often said the standard ST-46 is a bit soft and can bend out too easy. This is of course because we use heavier gear than the Japanese, even so it is annoying. I have managed to get some ST-56 in and they are slightly thicker wire which makes them better suited for the UK style of fishing.
