Is that the Storm that started in August that you are referring to ? If so, yes, i agree, it never left !!
Its pretty shocking to be honest lost count of the amount guys now that have said they have never seen a month or so like that for ages.

Simon and I fished all last winter and never had a bad spell like this, the odd day yes but nothing so consistant ! To coin a phrase, It's a one in a hundred year event !!! I hope.
The whole year has been shocking weather wise, I don't recall having many long settled spells in the summer, saying that though, November has come in at my 2nd best month of the year so far with 12-9 of qualifying size bass (3 fish) for our club, best was April with 18lb (also 3 fish), 5 out of those 6 on lures.

I hate summer bass fishing, it's so hard to catch fish when it doesn't get dark and it's all calm and horrid sun.

Since we had our meet on 24th October here in West Wales, it has been dreadful and I haven't seen any clear water since! Up to that point we had a good go, but I have packed up now - roll on next year. Can't be as bad - can it?
Just had a bit of a change in the weather here . . . which is nice . . . . it changed from Heavy Rain to Absolutely Torrential Rain . . . how nice !!!
global warming anyone ?

each year gets more screwed up than the last imho.
Global cold and wetting think we have had one decent day in the last six weeks
Its only F7 here today, and apparently the rain is turning into showers. I would have worn shorts to work this morning if I was allowed.

Wind guru shows a F4 day later this week!!!! Is that Swine flu I can feel coming on...
I was fishing with Saltiga yesterday, in the now normal rain and howling wind. Then strangely the cloud broke and the wind died. It was lovely, for a grand total of twenty minutes :(
Today it is back to rain rain and more rain with a bit of howling southerly thrown in to stop me bassing.
Don't care about the rain, but really need the southerlies to quit, really feel the need to be back on the beaches/rocks/reef.
I might have to dive down to Weymouth, just to wet a lure or two.
whatever we all do, when it does finally break..

get out there with some slow soft plastics and have a go.

I will be doing just that regardless of sea temperature this winter.
Just finished watching 2012.. things aint looking good guys,
It's just stopped raining and the sun is out!
Due to yesterdays disgraceful weather, i didnt even step foot outisde the door. In the afternoon, i made a HUGE pot of Cawl . . . . mmmmmm . . the whole house smelled divine. Well i brought in a big bowl of it into work with me today, and just stuffed the lot down. The guys that i work with were drevelling, and had to go over to Tesco to get a poxy sandwich !!! Ha  !

Cawl . . . now that's what i call 'proper' winter food !!!!

I'm gonna find a quiet corner to curl up & go to sleep now !!!

Couple of links added for the foreigners to know what the hell i'm talking about . . .

Have you actually read the theory behind the film? The science states we are overdue a polar shift and it's most likely to coincide with a transession through the galactic equator, which is logical. Our transession starts late 2012 and we cross the line on 26th July 2013 so not long now :)

I'll second that as a way to spend the winter. Enjoying it so far!! My last 4 bass were on SP's worked slow or even still in the tide.
