It won't be long now till the water temps are low enough to warrant the wearing of gloves. I can't vouch for the rest of you, but somehow my hands get wet and stay wet throughout my plugging exploits.......too much strumming of the braid during retrival of the braid methinks!
Last year I struggled through with so-called waterproof gloves, but they were too thick for proper feel of the rod/reel, then I ended up with the 'sealskin' type.

I can wholeheartedly reccomend these gloves for your winter plugging pleasure, there is no excuse for hanging up your rods now :lol: :lol:

i lure fish even when the snow is on the ground (ok its perch, pike and zander) i dont wear gloves!!! reason being i do short 30mins in the water, come out (maybe change lure if reqd) have a cuppa or just a "warm-up" i wear a different wading jacket in the winter with fleece lining around the lumber and chest area and hand warmer pockets that sit high up! 5-10 mins and im ready to go again. also i find shorter (mini-sessions) like this throughout the session helps keep my concentration levels up!!!

When it does get that cold that i have to wear gloves , I always wear 100% wool fingerless gloves they do get very wet but at the same time keep your hands warm. and you can still change your lures with ease.
And unhook the fish when need be.lol
