Low tide a bit later this morning, so not quite the omg wake up of last weekend, but was awake at 5, so thought be rude not to go & have a couple of hours at the beach!
Again, plenty of fish in front of us, but mainly mullet i think with a few more obvious bass amongst them.
Hooked & lost one on yellow patchinko but no furtherr interest.
Switched to black/silver patchinko at range over some submerged weed & hooked into a nice fish on a long line. Good scrap & then proceeded to make a proper dogs breakfast of using my new fish grip!
Got to say that once i'd actually gripped the fish it made handling a lot easier.
Measured @ 60cms, around 5lb 4oz on the BASS conversion chart.
Packed up about an hour after & left the others to head of to another mark. Good luck there guys, would of liked to of come, but things to do i'm afraid.
