Very impressive how well it's doing so far!!!! Great work!!

Do be aware though that 'hits' an be a bit misleading and 'visits' are definitely the number to look at (and 17,000 is bloody good!! :horsesword:). Me loading this 'submit reply' page has just added more than 50 'hits' to the running total - or at least it did this morning before the images were cached.

That is very impressive!!!!! Hopefully it will continue to grow and we can get some overseas contributions too. A few lure nuts from Japan and the US would certainly add to the interest with variations in styles, techniques and tackle.

Well done Mike and the moderators. (I still think that is a great name for a band!!!!)

It just shows what a great forum this is without the griping whingers!!!!!

That is quite good.

I have tried to indicate the existence of this forum in quite a number of blog posts and articles.
Not trying to control things at all, just doing some forum promotion. Hope this sits well with
everyone.

We'll get bigger and better too guys. It may take a while but we will get there. We chatted at the
weekend and the resolve to follow through with all we've suggested is strong.

Well done to everyone, admins, mods and most of all, the members.

Spread the word and, if we all use various search engines to locate a topic we 'know' exists in the front
end forum section, it will encourage the bots to crawl. We must put more in there with better 'keywords'
in the post headers.

Go to it chaps..

Stunning results for a site that has only been running for 6 weeks or so, well done everyone  and I am sure we all (Admin/Mods) consider ourselves members first, it is interesting to think others from as far a field as Japan and the USA are looking in and it would be great if we could get some of these guys to join. 129 members to date, it can only get better. :horsesword:

Ummmm the unique visitors and also the various hits we get from abroad.... As it's invitation only, how do these guys take the next step to actually join, bearing in mind they don't get to see any content?
If they read what is available they will see it says there is alot more info inside and to register. Maybe we need some pictures on there too, of fish and stuff.

Ok, just logged out and had a look at what a new visitor can see.

Pics? Great idea. Members catches/lures/reels/rods etc etc will definitely entice.

Also, perhaps jazz up the "welcome to the lure forum" to include more of whats available and make it sound like a friendly environment for like minded plugging freaks?

Good or bad idea?
