Guy’s and girls just be very happy that you are not into collection of big freshwater swimbaits as I am.

Take a look at the handmade Mother Swimbait from the Japanese company Roman Made.

Can be yours for a mere £235 excluding shipping from Japan, and not to forget the VAT.

Now, I have very few limitations when it comes to tackle purchases, but that is probably even beyond my madness.

I think you'd better buy one of each Vidar. A bulk order should save on postage ;-) Insanely nice lures!!

Wow this is a first for me! I may know something Vidar might not about Japanese tackle! Although I doubt it... The Mother was designed with the help of Manabu Kurita. He broke the world record for a fresh water bass last year on Lake Biwa. Particularly bizarre because not only was it a 70 year old record but the fact it was caught in Japan and not the States. Manabu is prostaff for Deps and caught it on livebait next to a man made structure.

Get this, he had to undertake a lie detector test and all sorts of questioning from the relevant bodies to prove himself. I'm not sure if it was Jeremy Kyle who read out the results or not.

I actually read about the world record equalling largemouth bass (weighed in at 22Ib, 4.97oz) caught by Manabu Kurita from Lake Biwa on a Japanese blog I frequently visit (thank god for the Google translation service) just 2-3 days after it was caught last year :mrgreen::mrgreen:

You are spot on in that this particular fish was caught on Bluegill live bait but Manabu Kurita was the holder of the previous Japanese and Lake Biwa record, a fish of 18.67Ib caught on 6th April 2008, which indeed was caught on the Mother swimbait by Roman Made :clap::clap:

they look ok but not worth that money, to qualify this how are they worth four or five models like the hasuzzy or cofunazzy?

not to mention some of the EU or US made top end baits

a few
