I met up with Kevin at my crap sea trout spot again today.

It was going to be tough fishing because of this cold snap.

Yes even sea trout like a bit of stability in the water temperature & a bit of heat in the pebbles as the tide covers them.

Anyway we had company in the form of two other sea trout anglers & a seal.

It was tough going & 'Team Tango' caught the only fish of the three hour session. That is between the four anglers & the seal.

What was bizarre, was that of all the colours of lures that we used guess which one caught?

Anyway.........is it a salmon or sea trout smolt?

You misheard Kevin - Gaffa not Jaffa.

I've fathered four children, so I'm definitely not seedless.

I've never caught a sea trout but then again I've never dressed in orange or tried an orange lure, maybe that's where I'm going wrong?

Nice fishin Nigel :)

As to Salmon or sea trout , I didn't give it much thought at the time, but on reflection and looking at the spot pattern it could well be a salmon smolt.

It got me thinking, that you had to be a certain age to know about being 'Tangoed'.

So for all the young ones out there.

Nigel of Orange has a certain ring to it, you and the dog might need to mind where you go at times right enough:)

In those bright conditions I've found the Jaffa pattern Stripper handy.
