@Leo Goddard

The rod is not heavy for his lenght and has a good fast action.
I use this rod for fishing with sofbaits and jigheads in 12 till 45 grams of weight.
You can also cast a spoon or a iron jigg with it.

I never use it for fishing with hardbait lures. For lure fishing i prefer a shorter rod to keep the tip down.
On a loth of spots here i need the 10 feeth of lengt to lift the fish over the structure and weeds under my feed.

The quality is good. After 3 seasons without cleaning it al the fuji eyes still look good.

All Major craft rods are made in China! that would explain the price may be?
It doesn't mean they are bad rods though,as plenty have testified here!
And? the cheaper Major craft rods are made in the same factory as Savagear rods! And? as we know,savagear rods are great for the price!:clap:

Interesting stuff Mark,
How do you know where the Majorcraft rods are being made-I understood they were VERY quiet about those details.

Someone in the tackle trade Dave:wink:
Stands to reason really! a lot of manufactures are shifting labour to China!
Some companies still have strict quality control over it though! hence a good rod for the money!
Thats what I've heard about them, they really maintain a tight quality control. I know of a retailer that built a complex over in the East in order to do the same thing, yet some of the quality is still naff, so I'd say "tight" is an understatement with Major Craft.
